About Us

Baku Sayang, in Manadonese dialect of Bahasa Indonesia, means ‘loving each other’. That’s what the food is really about: sitting together, eating well, taking care of the people around you.

From sour fish soup to Tinutuan, every dish is made with fresh spices and recipes that haven’t changed since we opened. We’ve served Jakarta since 2018, across two restaurants and a catering operation for corporate and private events.
